Dillon Gibbons

Dillon serves as the Policy Director for the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST), developing and implementing the association’s policy and advocacy programs, a position he has held since 2021. Dillon joined NAST with over twenty years of experience working on legislative issues, serving as the Chief of Staff for multiple state legislators and as a senior government affairs advisor for an association representing local governments on municipal finance issues, employment law, and general governance matters including transparency and accountability. In addition to his policy experience, Dillon has worked on numerous political campaigns providing issue guidance, media consulting, advertising development, and strategy development. Dillon received his degree in political science and business management from San Diego State University and lives with his wife and two young children in the Washington DC area.
